TM2 REPORTS [PDF Version]

Tool Management II provides an unmatched set of comprehensive reports. Maintain complete tool control with the analysis of data via a multitude of reports. Examples of sample report outputs can be found in ‘Sample Reports.pdf’.

TM2 reports include:

Supplier Inspection Report – print a hardcopy of the inspection results provided (on disk from Natoli Engineering) by the tool supplier.  (back to top)

In-Process Dimensional Inspection Report – print a hardcopy of the inspection report showing results from your in-process inspection. Cup Depth measurements outside of the allowable tolerance are shown in bold letters.  (back to top)

Tool Matching Report – automatically matches upper punches with lower punches to minimize deviation of tablet thickness, weight and hardness. Matching is based on the punch Working Length measured during inspection. Output in Upper Punch sequence for easy press setup.

Tool Wear Analysis – provides an analysis of tool Head Wear (Working Length) and TipWear (Cup Depth) over time. Simply select two separate inspection dates and compare the tool wear during that time. The Cup Depth tolerance to use for the basis of Tip Wear is selected at the time of the report and therefore can vary depending on your need.  (back to top)

Working Length Analysis – provides an analysis of tool Working Length based on an allowable tolerance. The tolerance can be selected at the time of the report based on the product. For example, one product may call for a tighter tolerance than another product and therefore affect your analysis. The tool Working Lengths are compared against each other rather than against an average.  (back to top)

Visual Inspection Result Analysis – provides an analysis of the “Visual” inspection results recorded during in-process inspections. Report criteria include the ability to limit output to a severity level (i.e. Heavy, Light, etc.)

Inspection Log Report – track tool set inspection dates and tablet production quantities at the time of the inspections. Sort by inspection date in chronological or reverse order, by production quantity since last inspection, etc.  (back to top)

Purchase Order Review – provides the ability to analyze Purchase Orders, Requisition or Quotes limited to various criteria: specific tools; hobs; dates; drawing nos.; suppliers or tool size.

Purchase Orders – easily create a Purchase Order or Requisition or Quote document that includes all the necessary information such as drawing numbers, hob numbers, steel types, cup depth, land, tip size, etc.  (back to top)

Tool Location Report – provides a summary or detailed listing of tool locations. Can be used as an inventory report for one set of tools or all tools.  (back to top)

Tool Usage Status Report – compares usage against user defined limits to determine if tools need to be replaced, etc. Check the status of your tooling based on the number of tablets produced. Track usage down to the punch level. Determine if tooling is in need of replacement, inspection, polishing or visual inspection based on tool usage.  (back to top)

Tool Usage History Report – print a complete usage history in summary or detail. Includes all information including dates, machines, compression areas, tablet quantities, product info. and more. Can be printed in Summary, Detail or Comprehensive form. Specify output criteria based on tool set, date, product, machine, etc.  (back to top)
